⋆Discovery Call⋆
We’ll meet for an initial consultation. I’ll learn more about your business, brand needs, and story while offering some examples of my past work and processes. By the end of our meeting, I’ll have a comprehensive picture of the perimeters of our project and you’ll be equipped with a better understanding of how we can work together.
⋆Initial Proposal⋆
Using the information gathered from our discovery call, I’ll send you a detailed proposal that breaks down the goals, requirements, and cost estimate for your project.
If you choose to move forward with my services, an initial 30% deposit will be due at contract signing to secure your slot on my calendar.
Please Note: I am happy to jump on a call to answer any lingering questions you may have before you sign.
⋆Kick-off Call⋆
And we’re off! We’ll use this time to dig into the phases of our project and initial thoughts spurred by the project proposal. By the end of our call, you’ll be prepared to gather inspiration for our project and be equipped with a detailed timeline of events.
A second installment of 30% will be due within a week of this call.
⋆Phase 1: Inspiration Gathering⋆
Most clients find this to be the most fun part. I’ll send you a questionnaire to help distill your tastes and branding preferences. From there, you can feel free to aggregate as much inspiration from other brands and media as you’d like.
⋆Phase 2: Ideation & Iteration⋆
This is where I take all of your inspiration and make drafts based on them. I’ll send you options for different components of your design project and adjust them based on your feedback.
While some components (such as logo design) will have a set number of drafts included in your package, others (like color palettes) can be adjusted until you are 100% satisfied.
⋆Phase 3: Building Your Deliverables⋆
Once we’ve nailed down the visual elements of your project, I’ll take these assets and build your formal deliverables—whether that be a brand guide, a live website or something in between!
⋆Phase 4: Presentation Call & Refinement⋆
Before launching your project, we’ll do one final walk-through together. This will give me the opportunity to ensure we’re aligned on the deliverables while offering you an opportunity to ask questions and request minor changes where appropriate.
The final 40% of my fee will be due at this time.
⋆Phase 5: Launch⋆
This is where your project is officially released. If your project includes a website (re)design, I’ll help facilitate a smooth site launch.
Please Note: I strive to make every meeting productive and worth your time. Some clients prefer weekly calls and some prefer as few meetings as possible. I’m here to support whatever workflow helps you collaborate best. If you prefer to have less meetings, I’ll do my best to stick to the minimum of three calls per project.
